THE VILLA

Las Palmeras sits in a commanding position with breathtaking views overlooking the Marina and the Mediterranean beyond.  Immediately to the left of the villa is the start of a national nature reserve so it is perfect for visitors who enjoy the combination of being close to the sea as well as close to the countryside.

Our previous guests have been kind enough to comment on how well equipped and tastefully decorated the villa is.

Below is a full Villa Specification and if you're a First Timer to Las Palmeras, take a look at the First Timer tab to see what makes it different.

Villa specification:

  • The villa sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and has a private pool.

  • Entrance is on the upper floor which comprises the landing and 3 of the bedrooms.

  • All bedrooms have air conditioning and Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 have private spacious terraces.

  • The living accommodation is downstairs with easy access to the garden and pool area.  Bedroom 4 is also downstairs.

  • The bedrooms are all double bedrooms - super kingsize beds (3 can be made into twins if required) all with ensuite WC and shower rooms. All bedrooms have stunning views over the Marina.

  • There is air conditioning throughout the villa.

  • Hairdryers in each bedroom.

  • Downstairs comprises a kitchen/dining room with table to seat 8.

  • Spacious and very well equipped kitchen.  Lots of Spanish recipe cookery books to take advantage of the most fantastic locally sourced produce.

  • Honesty grocery cupboard . . . many guests leave bits and pieces of useful dried goods.  Help yourself - but please replace with something similar.

  • Large sitting room - tastefully decorated.  We've enjoyed sourcing Menorcan antique bits and pieces to furnish the villa (see separate tab if that interests you).

  • High speed Wifi (50Mbps) and IPTV (over 70 channels).  A huge basket of DVDs and a wide selection of books (please feel free to swap your finished book if there's one in the library you'd like to take home).

  • Binoculars because you won't be able to resist watching the comings and goings of the Marina.

  • Outside there is plenty of space for sitting in or out of the sun.   Comfortable cushioned chairs as well as 8 sun loungers.

  • There is a large teak dining table and chairs which comfortably seats 8.  There are ample cushions for comfort.  And a large, shady, twist and tilt umbrella.

  • The outside kitchen has a drinks fridge, a premium gas BBQ and olive wood fired oven - fabulous for pizza or paella!

  • Mature gardens with beautiful flowers.

  • Pool with roman steps for easy entry.  Looks beautiful at night with underwater lighting. Optional extra to heat pool to 28 degrees in shoulder seasons @ £175/week.

  • Lilos and children's pool toys are left by guests in the garage - do please feel free to use.

  • Beach towels can be arranged for small additional cost.

  • Hop, skip and a jump and a 3 minute walk over a very small wall to get to the Marina and port bar - the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, sundowner or dinner.

  • Laundry room with washing machine, iron + board, sink and freezer.

  • Proximity to the natural park next door attracts all sorts of bird life (kestrels nest in the rocks behind the villa, bee eaters pass through, flycatchers love to sit on the railings).  See separate tab if the bird life of the island interests you.

  • Off street parking.

  • Key safe access.  Valuables safe.

  • Managed by local professional, highly responsive property management company to respond to any needs.

  • Comprehensive Villa Manual to help with every aspect of your stay.
