Even the first and subsequent communication with the landlady of the property Simone was perfect, she was very helpful and downright caring. The villa is very tastefully furnished and also technically perfect. In addition, it has a very nice terrace and pool with a wonderful view over the marina of Addaya, what more could you want. This is what makes Menorca fun, we would love to come back.

What a lovely time we had … we were a group of 9 .. 7 adults and 2 toddlers .. age range of 70 to 15 months ! The villa is so well equipped and Simi and Menorca home care couldn’t have been more helpful. We explored the local beaches and restaurants particularly liking the little beach at Na Macaret and the lovely restaurant there.
I thoroughly recommend Las Palmeras

Thanks for letting us stay at Las Palmeras - we had a lovely relaxing time. The location overlooking the harbour was perfect for lazy days by the pool, and the viila was well equipped for everything you need for a week (or longer!) away. Easy walk to the local supermarket and restaurants and some great choices for eating out a little further afield. Perfect break for the five of us raining from 17 to 57! We loved Menorca and really enjoyed our break at Las Palmeras.
Best wishes and hope to come back soon!

Our family age range was 8 to 64 and we really enjoyed our time in Las Palmeras. We hired bicycles, visited beaches and beautiful towns as well as spending a couple of days at the villa enjoying the pool. Simone’s attention to detail in the Villa is meticulous. It’s a lovely location and you’ll not be disappointed.

Hi Simone, Just a quick thank you for allowing us to rent your delightful home in Menorca once again. This home from home is situated in such a delightful spot in the marina. A particular delight is the swimming pool not only for it’s setting but the fact that it is kept heated to a temperature which makes it a joy to use (unlike many other villas we have stayed in!) Can’t say too much more as if we make it sound too good (which it is!) we’re likely to find you have no vacancies available for us to return next year.
Kind regards C & Y

"little piece of heaven . ."

It has taken me this long to write a review for Las Palmeras as we are still feeling the feel good and calming effects of our stay in this ‘little piece of heaven’…
We’ve now been twice in two months, which we’ve never done, and I can honestly say that we’ve never relaxed so quickly and forgotten our home and work problems so fast as when we went to Las Palmeras. I think the main thing, apart from the exquisite location, view and facilities, is the fact that it feels like a home… not another lovely but impersonal holiday destination, but as if you are staying at your best friend’s house, full of thoughtful touches, attention to detail and cosy atmosphere. We will be going again, and joining the league of repeat attenders jostling for place in the villa’s guest book.

Location. 20 minutes from Mahon airport - ideal after an early start and Airport hassle. Easy walking access to the local restaurants and shops. Location. Overlooking an harbour with lots to see whilst relaxing with a beer. Location. Good access to all of the Islands points of interest via uncrowded, well maintained roads,I'd forgotten that driving pleasure! Oh,and if you are in to getting off the beaten track and exploring the beautiful countryside, this place really does take a lot of beating. The property itself was splendid, modern, well proportioned ,scrupulously clean and very well equipped. Real thought had been given to the fittings and furnishings and all of our party of five were impressed with what had clearly been a very genuine attempt to please and to indulge even the most discerning of guests. Full marks to owner Simone.
It's difficult to add to the excellent reviews that this property has already attracted and it was interesting to read the comments left in the Visitors Book. Do all of the visitors who leave comments promising to return, really do so ? clearly many do and I'm sure that we will be amongst their number in the future! We were a party of five middle aged people, yet this place lends itself to all kinds of groups young and old. Oh, did I mention the great location?

Glorious Villa with a commanding view of the Port

Having stayed at this Villa, on two occasions now, we cannot recommend it highly enough. The Villa has just been refurbished,to a high standard, and is maintained impeccably. This building dominates the harbour with fantastic views, with the sun rising at 0645hrs directly onto the terrace, which is fantastic for an early morning breakfast.
We arrived early, but everything was in place for our stay. The "Cantina" restaurant, opposite, it just a hop over the wall and the food and staff (Juan) are excellent. Great supermarket, Tapas bar, English/Indian restaurant is a 7 min. walk up the bank. This is an idyllic place if you just want a totally relaxing time with the family.Support/communications from Simone, the owner, and her support staff were superb.
We cannot recommend this Villa highly enough. Will we be back........You bet!!!!
Some advice . . . book early:)

My wife and I picked Las Palmeras because of the way it presented itself on the internet, a chic house, with nice furniture and the proximity to the harbor. The website perfectly reflects the house and it ambiance. Actually the reality is even better. As to the house it is clean, extremely well appointed, has four bedrooms with a bathroom for each. Three rooms have their own balcony, so that if there are several couples as guests one can have one's own time out. If you have small children - they'll love it - but watch they don't wriggle through the railing and into the flower bed! If you like to grill outside or even make a pizza or bread in a real live bakery oven, this is the place to be. The owner has prepared a guest information book which covers everything that one wants to know about the house, the island and restaurants etc. You don't have to read a guide book if you have gone through it. Addaia itself is ideal if you want your peace and quite. It has no hotel, no large beach, no big stores or malls, therefore no buses loaded with tourists. The houses and the whole town are spick and span. The only people there are owners or renters of houses or apartments. Granted we were there in the off season, but it still must be just as pleasant in the summer. But it does have a supermarket and an adjoining newspaper store, where you get just everything you need as to food, newspapers, toiletries etc. As to restaurants we found the restaurant down at the harbor (maybe 100 yards away) very good with a very nice and good service. There are several more restaurants up next to the supermarket. Addaja is easy to find from the airport. By the way nothing is really far on Menorca (40 km across). We liked Fornells as a place where we went to eat several times. And the highlight for us: being just above the harbor. You can watch the coming and going of the boats for hours, the ins and outs of the people on the boats, the myriads of ducks. You never get tired of looking and it beats reading 'who-done-its' all the time. We didn't but would rent a boat the next time we are there. In conclusion a very, very nice house in a wonderful environment. Pity we were there only of a week.

"A gem of a villa in a fantastic location"

We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks in September 2016 with our daughter. On arrival we were delighted by the beautiful location overlooking Port Addaya. The pool area has plenty of seating and sun beds and provides ample opportunity to people watch as the day unfolds in the port. There is a lovely Port bar serving food as well as drinks. You can also hire bicycles if you are so inclined. The villa itself is furnished in a stylish manner and the kitchen in particular is extremely well equipped. The villa is clean and well maintained and the owner was helpful and friendly on all aspects of the rental and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. We ate out a number of evenings and used the local taxis so we could all relax and enjoy the local wine.
The highlight of our trip was a Jeep Safari which we could highly recommend. Overall we were delighted by the villa, the surrounding area and the island of Menorca as a whole. In fact we loved it so much we have already booked again for next year! There are some more bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa as well as a couple of shops.

Stayed a week in the villa which was like home from home. Offered all the facilities you could wish for to make your stay truly wonderful. The location was quiet but local amenities including the local restaurants where perfect, a car is not necessary but useful should you wish to see this beautiful island.
But if its a quiet holiday you are looking for then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa for the perfect relaxing holiday with all the comforts you require.

Enjoy lovely views of the marina. The villa has everything you need and it has a well designed outdoor kitchen area, perfect for a boozy barbecue lunch of which we had many!
Fantastic accommodation in lovely location

This is a beautiful property, well maintained and equipped. There were ten of us in our party, six adults and four children. We all had en-suite rooms, which were comfortably furnished. The reception rooms are large and comfortable, and being that there were so many of us we never felt on top of one another. The large kitchen/diner is excellently equipped, and there is an outside BBQ and eating area which was clean and well maintained. There is plenty of comfortable seating for lounging around the pool, which is of a good size and well maintained. The property is on the waterfront with wonderful views across the bay and out to sea. The supermarket is about a six minute walk away along with restaurants. We hired a car, which I think is a necessity here, so we could go further afield, to the beach and other resorts and restaurants. We had a fantastic week here. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and I would highly recommend it.

This was our third stay at this villa and we have already booked for next year. We love the outside kitchen, with BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor fridge. Everything has been well thought out, with plenty of plates, glasses, serving dishes etc. for entertaining.
The property is very clean, with a good layout. The kitchen opens out onto the pool, which is great when eating outside. We have stayed in others villas, where we have to keep going up and downstairs to the kitchen. The organisation has always been excellent, with a welcome food pack to get us started. Our children, age 11 and 9, love the swimming pool. They also enjoy the short walk to the marina. Can't wait to return!

Our family stayed in this amazing villa for a week in October and we were bowled over by it! The villa itself is beautiful with everything we could possibly need (including inflatables for the kids to use in the pool!)
The rooms are stunning with elegant decor and those upstairs have balconies with beautiful views across the Port. The pool and outdoor area was gorgeous. We had to keep a close eye on the little ones around the pool but we would not expect anything else. If we couldn't supervise them, they played inside happily as there was plenty of space. The villa catered for a range of ages. Our party ranged from 4 to 76 and we all loved it!! The weather was incredible! We stepped back into mid-summer for a week in Autumn which was just lovely! The kids loved being able to swim in the sea and play on the beach in their cossies when we would have been wrapped up in waterproofs in England!
Fabulous!!
Beautiful Villa with stunning views of the port and sea!

We had a wonderful holiday at the Villa. The views of the port and the islands and the sea are marvellous.
Even when swimming in the nice big pool, you could watch the port and the sea. The water in the pool is very smooth and doesn't smell of chlorine as it normally does. We really appreciated this. Especially if you are travelling with children, this is great.
The kitchen is very well equipped and the big table on the terrace with the big umbrella is the best place for every meal. We also liked the cosy sitting area next to the pool.
The bedrooms upstairs are overlooking the harbour as well and they have a balcony, which is really nice.
The whole house is tastefully decorated and we immediately felt at home.

Well what can I say about this Beautifull Villa!! The party was my wife & I, two grown up kids and my sprightly in-laws. This glorious villa dominates the entrance to a small but pristine harbour, and is in the best location in this area.
The villa was immaculate. We arrived early but left our cases in the garage whilst it was being fully prepared so we just went off to explore for an hour. The furnishings and fittings were of an extremely high standard and the villa was superbly prepared by very nice staff. The patio and pool are stupendous, having great views of the harbour and just chilling out with a beer watching the boats entering & departing, was my thing!!Just the total ambience and chill factor made this my ideal holiday.
The villa will easilly accomodate 8, and if you work the maths out, this is cheaper than a 4 star hotel!! The marina is very nice, with a most excellent restaurant, with very decent pricing, which is 2 mins away,by jumping over the small wall(my M-I-L did it pics on request!!!)
The small village is about a 5 min walk but uphill!! Good supermarket which is well stocked, get there early in the morning for the most beautiful fresh, hot bread. Brilliant Indian restaurant, and a couple of good bars. Mahon is only a bus ride away with a regular service, but if you need a taxi ask the shop owners in the village and they will accomodate you. If you want a most chilled out totally relaxing break to charge your batteries this is the place to be.
I never really wanted to review this villa as I didn't want to let this hidden secret out of the bag!!!, but with respect to the owner, Simone( who is really great to deal with), may be this should be shared. THIS VILLA IS A CREDIT TO THE OWNERS. Would I go back?....YOU TRY AND STOP ME!!!!
